SPATIAL DIMENSIONS OPENS NOTTINGHAM OFFICE

September 14, 2022

Spatial Dimensions has been providing measured building surveys, laser scanning and 3D modelling for clients across the UK since 2012.

As part of continued growth plans, we are pleased to announce the opening of our new office in Pelham Street, near the Lace Market, in Nottingham.

HELLO NOTTINGHAM!

AS PART OF OUR CONTINUED GROWTH, WE ARE PLEASE TO OPEN OUR NEW PELHAM STREET OFFICE

Talking about the new office opening, Managing Director Claire Fenwick commented:

“We are proud to have been part of iconic projects such as the Castleford Viaduct in Manchester and Lewis’s building, a large retail development in Liverpool. In order to continue working with Architects, Project Managers and Developers in the Midlands and further north, Nottingham was the perfect location. It’s a growing city with huge potential, and great connections to the North”

The Nottingham office will open with two full time staff on the ground, plus the broader support of our entire team in Sevenoaks. James Macdonald will head up the operation, bringing 6 years of experience working on projects such as the Grenfell Estate regeneration  and Kings College Hospital in London.

“James is an exceptional surveyor, with a wealth of experience. He brings the expertise to work on projects from small garden topographical surveys to surveys for large mixed-use developments. With the added benefit of support from the larger team in Sevenoaks always on hand, who have worked on projects such as the  Grenfell estate regenerationKings College Hospital and the iconic transformation in Sloane Square, we’re confident James and the team can help ArchitectsProject Managers and Developers to keep projects on track and on budget, ultimately creating amazing spaces that everybody loves.”

Whilst concerns have been raised by business leaders over just how effective the government initiatives for Levelling Up in the Midlands will be, we’re confident that the investment initiatives detailed in the government’s Levelling Up Whitepaper are a sign of continued growth and development for the region. Here are just a few examples:

  • 11 projects in the West Midlands will receive an initial £196 million of investment to regenerate town centres and high streets, upgrade local transport, and invest in cultural and heritage assets in Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Bedworth, Cannock, Stoke-on-Trent, Wolverhampton, Solihull and Kidderminster.

  • £328 million will be invested by The Towns Fund, across 15 towns in the West Midlands, including Wolverhampton, Hereford and Nuneaton.

This level of investment is a huge positive and we believe the key to stimulating growth. The team at Spatial Dimensions are excited to be part of this growth, and we look forward to continuing our work with Architects, Project Managers and Developers in the Midlands and North of England.

If you are an architect that thrives on creating amazing spaces, or a project manager who need to get your projects completed on time and on budget, or a developer wants to maximise your asset value, we would love to hear from you.
