LEWIS’S BUILDING

THE BRIEF

The former Lewis’s Department Store is one of Liverpool’s most iconic landmark buildings.

The original Lewis’s Department Store dates back to 1856. The building burnt down in the infamous fire of 1886, and was heavily bombed by the Luftwaffe during the Second World War.

Spatial Dimensions were briefed to provide a partial scan to BIM survey for the purposes of a comprehensive programme of redevelopment and remodelling.

Particular attention was needed on the structural beams and columns, so the architect could maximise the available space for the client.

OUR WORK

THE OUTCOME
