SURVEYING THE EDUCATION SECTOR
Health and wellness are at the forefront of government minds and the education sector right now, with research showing that many students and teachers are stressed out, struggling with anxiety and at their breaking point. On this page we will look at how surveys within education is helping with such issues.
In recent years, places of learning, discovery and research have become far more progressive and collaborative in their approach to creating sustainable spaces, connected and have the capacity to improve the well-being of those who use them.
Survey data within education helps improve learning environments, enhance wellbeing, increase energy efficiency and creates better infrastructure as a whole.
THE IMPORTANCE OF SURVEYING
IN THE EDUCATION SECTOR
Surveys for the education sector play an important role daily in making spaces more accessible, progressive, and desirable as a whole.
Our recent experience in RAAC panel surveys has highlighted the need for quick and reliable data, to help our clients make informed decisions.
Primary and secondary schools pose separate issues. Surveying work must be carried out as quickly and accurately as possible. This helps our clients work to strict time schedules, including school holidays. When needed our teams are trained to work around teachers and pupils, minimising disruption.
In 2022 there were over 2.86 million students at UK universities. This signified exponential growth in the last 20 years of young people attending higher education. With numbers like this, it’s clear why many universities need regeneration, new buildings and more versatile spaces.
