Spatial Dimensions founder and Managing Director, Claire Fenwick was recently made a Fellow at the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES). This caps off an incredible personal year for Claire. In March 2024, was voted to serve as the first president of The Survey Association who trained at the affiliated Survey School.
This has all been done whilst running a national surveying company. This is certainly a remarkable achievement. All at Spatial Dimensions would like to congratulate Claire on an outstanding year.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
A Fellow at the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors represents the pinnacle of professional achievement in surveying. It acts as a mark of distinction, between fellow professionals.
To be considered and accepted as a Fellow (FRICS), the individual must have significant senior experience. They must also demonstrate a contribution to the industry which is over and above their daily work. A rigorous application process is then carried out.
ABOUT THE CICES
The Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES) is the leading international professional body for specialists in geospatial engineering and commercial management in infrastructure. CICES membership demonstrates that individuals are competent in their field and committed to continuing professional development.
Since its conception, CICES has gone from strength to strength with an ever increasing membership. It is now a registered educational charity promoting the profession throughout the world. In 2009 CICES was awarded a royal charter which recognised the importance of the contribution it makes to the construction industry and society as a whole.
The overall aim of the institution is to advance the science of civil engineering in surveying, and all it’s aspects.
