We have several new vacancies, due to our continued success and company growth. The successful candidate will ensure Spatial Dimensions is recognised for high quality and
timely Revit and AutoCAD project deliveries. You will provide BIM and CAD expertise to the business and their clients. You will be working on a wide variety of land and measured building surveys including commercial, residential, heritage and the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As Head of Quality Assurance you will be responsible for project compliance using industry  standards and enhanced digital workflows. You will oversee and develop our CAD and  Building Information Modelling (BIM) strategies and implementation to meet our clients’  requirements and our targeted growth market specific needs. Your technical expertise will  allow you to implement CAD and BIM strategies, standards, and protocols in line with  ISO19650 and other industry best practices. 

You will be expected to lead and manage multiple client projects, closely liaising  with Project Managers and consulting all other stakeholders. You will effectively manage  any subcontractors for both Revit and CAD work, regularly liaising with them to  continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the work they produce on behalf of the  company. You will need to manage and oversee CAD and digital modelling processes,  ensuring consistency and accuracy across all project phases. You will assist with project  planning and client specification meetings, both face to face and online. You will have a  thorough understanding of survey specifications and accuracies. You will also be required  to assist in providing time estimates on CAD and Revit work. Customer service will always  need to be at the front of your mind.  

You will help drive innovation, including identifying opportunities for automation and  process improvement within digital construction workflows. Within this process you will be  leading the selection and implementation of CAD and BIM-related software. You will  

monitor industry trends and technological advancements to keep the company at the  forefront of BIM, CAD and survey deliverables. 

Communication is a key responsibility for this role. Therefore, excellent written and verbal  communication skills are essential. Reporting and collating Management Information is  important. You will be expected to set a suite of CAD and BIM KPI’s and produce a monthly  progress report on activities. Line management, coaching and mentoring others, will  naturally form part of this role.  

You will need a flexible approach to working hours and be able to get yourself to the office  by 8:30am.  

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role  
  • Strong expertise in CAD and knowledge of survey drawings 
  • Understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and industry best practices
  • Expert proficiency in Revit and CAD with a deep understanding of their  applications in geospatial and land surveying projects
  • Experience in handling and checking pointcloud data 
  • Experience in checking topographical survey drawings 
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management  skills. 
  • Ability to train and mentor junior team members. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive innovative mindset.
  • Due to the nature of the role, it is a requirement to work in the Sevenoaks office 5  days per week  
  • Punctual and able to manage your own time 
  • Works well under pressure to hit deadlines 
  • Must have UK Visa and previous experience working in the UK

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Geospatial, or a  related field

  • Certification in BIM or Digital Construction (e.g., BRE BIM Certification, RICS BIM  Manager Certification)

  • Experience as Geospatial/Land Surveyor would be highly desirable

  • Experience within the geospatial profession would be an advantage
